Price Points:
Farmgate Prices
Farmgate prices are collected on Wednesdays from  farmers by the Marketing and Extension Officers of the Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA).

Retail Prices
Retail prices are collected by the Marketing Officers of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MOAF) on Thursdays of each week. These prices reflect the retailers' selling price to the consuming public, and are collected amongst 16 corporate area supermarkets and warehouse shopping clubs

Retail prices provide a  comparative overview of prices within a specified location for selected agricultural produce.

Wholesale Prices
Wholesale prices are supplied to the MOAF from Retailers on Thursdays of each week. Wholesale prices reflect a margin on the FarmGate prices or conversely the price point before the retailers' margin.

Municipal Prices
Municipal market prices are collected by the Officers of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Agricultural Marketing Information Division. Urban municipal market prices (Papine, Constant Spring, Cross Roads, and Coronation) are collected in Kingston each Thursday. Rural municipal market prices are collected on Fridays and Saturdays for dissemination on Monday afternoons. Rural municipal market prices are collected throughout most parish capitals, and in Manchester, prices are collected from markets in both Mandeville and Christiana.
